Welcome Roger Frick!

Roger grew up on a small dairy farm in southeastern Minnesota & graduated from Iowa State University. He has been in production agriculture or agricultural business all his life. He likes classic cars, classic rock & roll and antiques of all kinds, especially farm machinery. Please stop into the office & welcome him!!

Welcome Kent Thompson!!!

We would like to welcome Kent Thompson to ECI! Kent will be working out of our La Porte City office with Agronomy sales.

Kent was born and raised on a small farm in north central Iowa. He earned a degree in Ag Business at Northwest Missouri State University, which is where he met his wife Cindy, who works for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in the area of family life. The lived in Nebraska for a few years where Kent was an agronomy sales person before moving to Humboldt, Iowa to be closer to family, and eventual Independence, where Kent and his family have lived for 17 years. Over the years Kent has served local farmers in the area of chemical, fertilizer and seed sales as well as working in both department and location management.

Kent and Cindy have five children – 2 daughters out of college, a son and daughter in college, and a son who is a high school sophomore – as well as one grandson. Together Kent and Cindy enjoy traveling in the summer on their motorcycle and in the fall and winter Kent enjoys hunting. He is looking forward to using his experience in ag and knowledge of northeast Iowa in his new role with ECI.

Please stop in to visit with him and welcome him to ECI!!!
